HOW DO YOU INDEX YAHOO MAIL FOR SEARCHING LATTER?

I was wondering how one indexes your own yahoo mail? Does any one know? Do you have to transfer your mail over to outlook some how.. Thier must be a ay to search your yaho mail, since like 90% of all the email accounnts in the world is on yahoo...

Can any one provide me with some insight? Thanx

Currently neither X1 Desktop Search (XDS) nor Yahoo Desktop Search (YDS) can index Yahoo's web-based email.

With Google's recently introduced GDS v2.0 indexing Gmail for you, I would imagine Yahoo is working on same feature for its Yahoo emails also (my own personal speculation).


Also, it seems that YDS will also have Yahoo-specific indexing capabilities, that X1 may not have (and may never have).

It has been suggested that X1 offer YDS users an add-on that gives X1 the YDS features, for the sake of those who are willing to upgrade from YDS to XDS (which is payware).

Use Thunderbird to get the Yahoo Web-based emails... with the following Extension:


YahooPOPs!
