Activation issues

I have been having boot up problems with my laptop hard drive and if it boots up X1 loads and runs fine. But if I exit X1 and try to restart it is says the trial has expired and to enter activation info. I enter it and it says I have no more activations. I can logoff and log back in and it works fine. Been using it since Jan 2016. I am trying to resolve my hardware issues but I was wondering why this is happening. I use X1 a lot and wanted to know if this is a known issue.

Have you tried to Deactivate it?

> Menu > Info

Then maybe enter the activation info.

But first fix the hardware?
