I'm a heavy user of Outlook's Category feature. I organize my e-mail extensively by assigning different topic areas to certain pre-defined Categories.
Up until the latest version, X1 did a great job of recognizing the Category field assigned to each message and I could quickly search/sort on that field.
But the latest version - Version 5 Build 1500zzb - fails to recognize the Category assigned to most messages. For example, in one folder with approximately 1,200 messages where over 1,000 of these messages have a Category assigned to them; X1 only shows about a dozen of these messages as having a Category assigned!
X1 does index the messages just fine...but the Category field for most messages is shown as blank regardless of whether a Category is assigned to that message or not. Also, it doesn't seem to be related to whether the Category field has multiple entries specified or just one entry...it picks up the assigned Category field for some of each...and yet doesn't for others.
This is a really bothersome bug!
