Shorten the Toolbar in Outlook

Postby RichardG » Wed Apr 05, 2006 2:35 pm

Hi,

Love X1! Hate that 3-mile long toolbar in Outlook. Instead of lining them all in a row, how about selecting folders from a dropdown? I really need the screen realestate for other quick-to-reach functionality.

Thanks,
Richard

You can actually customize your Outlook X1 Toolbar by:

[Right_Click_Outlook_Toolbar]>>[Customize]

Then drag any of the X1_Toolbar buttons you feel you don't need.

By the way, did you know that you can also customize the (long) X1_Deskbar in the same way?

Confirm this looks like a bug, that XDS v5.5.1 (Build 2868cz-ak) cannot save changes made to MS Outlook's X1 Toolbar.

ie: next time MS Outlook restarts, X1 doesn't remember previous changes made to MS Outlook's X1 Toolbar (and uses the default one instead).

X1 staff, please note this bug report?
