Tagging or flagging multiple X1 results for action

I use X1 ® Desktop Search Version 5.5.2

Frequently I search for relevant emails or docs to answer a question in my business. Often I see a list containing several significant items.

I would like to be able to TAG each such item to create a sublist of relevant items needing attention - perhaps a system of coloured flags (bit like Outlook) could work?

XEC (X1 Enterprise Client) only indexes files; it doesn't alter files, and there's no way to put a "flag" or the like to those file/emails that you feel is more important.

What you can do, however, is to manually name files with a consistent naming convention, all placed in well named folders, so that you can call these up in XEC very quickly.

eg: All files for answering customer FAQ's have "info" keyword in filename, and placed in a folder named "Customer-FAQ".

Ditto for emails--with some forethought, you can consistently name your email's Subject_Line with code words, and emails placed in well named folders that you can call up in XEC very quickly.

eg: Subject Line contains:

So you can call up any of your own case files by searching in XEC for "aw0" in the subject line. (and you can have up to 9,999 of these case files--should be enought for you).

Good luck!
