Render views as different formats

Sometimes it is useful to be able to view files in a different format.

For example, someone has asked if they can index and view certain files – aspx and html – that the viewer renders as web pages:

It would be good to have an option (Perhaps a "Right Click" in the viewer pane) so that people can look at these files at "plain text".

You can do this with QuickView Plus, the file viewer software that is built around the Stellent viewer technology.

Please consider putting that "option" in pref/options to preview actual html code, so one wouldn't have to right-click on rendered page. A global option to index/view entered filetypes as text would be great!

This is the one big gripe of mine- there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to force index of full-page ASPX files as text. X1 will display as text up to the opening HTML tag and nothing afterward. If an ASPX page uses a master page (containing the HTML tags) then it will index the whole ASPX page as text.

I tried editing the whitelist.xml file but doesn't help.

Is there anything I can do to force HTML tag inner contents as text?
