Paid Customer: Lost Features in "Free" Upgrade

I bought X1 approximately 2 years ago and have been using it ever since. I just downloaded and installed the latest desktop client as it appeared to be a free upgrade. Now I can no longer specify my network drives here at home for indexing. That's where all of my .pst archives are and it renders X1 useless. What are my options as I am not interested in a paid upgrade.

How to enable network indexing in recent releases of X1

If you have XP Pro, there are other options. I leave you to find them for yourself as I don't have Pro. You shouldn't have far too look. Someone else posted their workaround earlier today.
