[quote:86e60d77a6="ediazdelrio"]I use Spanish as my first language. I have problems seeing accented or special characters. I could see them in "UNICODE (UTF-8)", but it is not possible to establish this or other codes as default. It is a necessity for many languages. Is there any solution?

Our current version does not support Unicode character sets. We are working on an international version of X1 with Unicode and double-byte support, but we don't yet have a release date for these features.

That being said, you should see an improvement in this area with the GA release of X1 v5.5, as we will support single-byte Unicode character sets, such as Spanish and German.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Hi Hiro Hasegawa,

Unfortunately XEC currently does not support any foreign language or Unicode searching... (Japanese, Hebrew, Spanish, etc.)

we believe it's not on the product roadmap at the moment...

We've put your posting into the Feature Request Forum!

Kind regards,
Rgds / Mr. Wong
