Copy not working as expected

Postby stodd » Sat Mar 01, 2008 4:19 am

I would expect the following sequence to work:
- select a file in X1
- copy using ctrl-C
- go to desktop, Explorer or similar
- paste using ctrl-V

This can be done by drag drop, but copy paste does not work. They should be equivalent.

ctrl-C copy is there in the Edit menu, and it seems to do something as it sometimes takes a short but perceptible time, but I am not sure what it does.

There are 2 camps of folks--the ones who want X1 to mimic Windows Explorer functions (Copy, Rename, etc.)... and those who don't want X1 to go in this direction...

If anyone feels the need for X1 to micmic Windows (Copy, Rename, etc.), pls feel free to contribute to this thread!
