x1 should index outlook read recepts.

Sometimes the information is very valuable.

Did you try customising the X1 [Email] search columns?
There are MANY more search columns parameters that you can use...

Goto to [Email] tab.

Right-click your mouse over the Search Columns (the one that says To/From/Subject/Date, etc.).

Select [Columns] from the context menu.

Choose the appropriate Column Search parameter that you wish.
(I'm not sure which one are you looking for, so try something like, "Read Receipe Requested", "Flag Text", "Flag", etc.).

Good luck!

Let me clarify:

X1 simply does NOT see the messages. For instance, I click on the "All" tab, then click the "Clear" button to remove all past searches.

x1 shows me 524,535 messages. The top 35 messages were all received today. But, when I look at Outlook, I see 38 messages because there were 3 read receipts.

Most mail items have a messageClass property of IPM.Note (MailItem), but read receipts have are IPM.Report (ReportItem).

I don't think x1 knows how to read ReportItems.

x1uncle,

1. Just in case, if by chance you are not using the most update version of X1, pls kindly install X1 v. 6.1 (Build 3575).
www.x1.com/download

Allow your computer to index your computer over this Easter long weekend, and be sure to shut down all other unnecessary programs (takes longest to finish its Initial Indexing--after that, it's OK).

2. If you are already using this latest X1 build, try forcing X1 to index Outlook again by:

Tools>>Options>>Email>>Outloook>>>[Index_Outlook_Now]

After above have been done, hopefully the problem goes away!

I couldn't get it to show these either.

I reckon that this needs to be a feature request.

No, I have nothing to do with X1, just a user since 2004.
