1. Does X1 Pro Client Blackbird support indexing Windows Mail, and also upcoming Windows 7's version of Windows Mail?
(Windows Mail is the Vista version of Outlook Express).

2. MANY thanks for X1, finally reinstating indexing of removing drives (USB thumb drives, etc.).
Thanks for listening!

I'm willing to purchase X1 Pro Client new Licence key iff (if and only if) it can index my email client, Windows Mail.

I will be buying a new notebook computer in 6-12 mths time with Windows 7 pre-installed on it.

(As an aside, looks like Win'Vista is rapidly going the way of Win'Me [ie: junk] as I've previously predicted...)

It doesn't look like it can handle Windows Mail.

I am still looking at the indexing of USB disks. Here at least it seems to lose the index. But that may be because it fails to recognise a USB disk as a USB disk. It sees it as a local disk.

@w0qj: I get the impression that X1 is just going after the corporate market now and is no way interested in end-user type customers. No free version anymore, new licences and the new eDiscovery version of X1.

Who knows though, maybe X1 v7 will have some of the features you're after. Fingers crossed still.
