Indexing: accessing emails on server

Apparently, Outlook has been archiving my emails that are a year old. (My company set up the PC and didn't give me admin rights, so I'm not able to change that.) I can view these emails in Outlook by clicking on the "click here to view more on Microsoft Exchange". But X1 doesn't index them. There a way around this? Like creating a new pst file that contains everything? Or ??
