where in the cloud are my files stored?

File abc.xls was updated on my desktop a month ago. x1 desktop has indexed it and it shows up normally there. Using search keyword, x1 mobile shows in its document list abc.xls, with same file size and date as on x1 desktop -so far so good. When I click on it, what shows up is THE PREVIOUS VERSION of the file which is no longer on the desktop!!! When I email through x1 mobile, what arrives is the PREVIOUS VERSION. Where is this phantom coming from?

I am not familiar with Mobile Search, so what follows is based on X1, the desktop client. (I chip in only because there seem tol be very few people here using Mobile Search.)

Where do you end up if you "Right click >> Go to folder"?

(If you can do that in Mobile Search?)

What does the file look like when you get there?

The phantom could be in your garbage or a cache somewhere.

thanks for the post.
Can't do what you suggest - mobile search is done on an iPhone.
But my desktop search indexes all of my desktop and still that phantom does not show up there - only on the mobile.

still don't understand what happened, but after removing then reinstalling app, the "phantom" disappeared.

Hi amonty,

For clarification, can you tell us what you uninstalled/reinstalled (X1 Professional Client, X1 Mobile Search or the X1 Mobile Connect software)?

Just FYI -- I had been performing multiple tests, but was not able to replicate your results.

...deleted x1 search app from iPhone, then reinstalled it by syncing the iPhone with iTunes.
