search box at bottom of page disappeared - how to restore?

Postby horizonjob » Fri May 21, 2010 7:25 am

I have X1 on my laptop and noticed that when I removed the laptop from the docking station, I lost the search box at the bottom right corner of the screen (to the left of the systray and the right of the start button and quick launch programs). Everything else seemes to be working okay and I do have the search box within Outlook. Does anyone know how I can restore the search box? Thanks.

If you right click on the bar along the bottom of the screen and select "Toolbars" - the X1 Toolbar should in listed there. Try unticking it if it's already ticked then reticking it and it should appear.

Good luck!
