Can't index PST file

I have added PST file that contains emails from a previous account to my Outlook mail client. In Outlook I have no problem accessing the PST files.
However, when I added this Outlook account to X1, it ignores the PST files, and I have not found a way to add them.
Not sure whether this makes a difference: access to the current email account happens through IMAP

Help would be much appreciated!

How did you add the PST file?

In the past I have created a "dummy" profile in Outlook. Don't add any email accounts. Just point it at the PST files as data sources.
