The installation (from the msi file) went fine. It seemed to take a long time – and this was on a PCI-e SSD drive – and I got several popups warning me that it could not close the "requested applications". But persist and it works.

Too soon to know what the new version brings to the party.

How about making that a toggle?

If preview is on, turn it off.

If it is off, turn it on.

Get X1 to remember the previous state (vertical/horizontal) and return to that.

If I forward a file from X1 via email, it does not pick up the title of the document. Shows me an empty subject.

Any reason why X1 cannot turn the filename into a subject? Other things do.

Hi,

Installed this version on Windows 10 Insider preview 64 bit with Office 2016 32 bit. Tried both 32-bit and 64-bit, but when starting X1 error pops upt: can not connect to X1 index service. But this is running as I vcan see from the resource monitor.

Any clues?

Ernst

Hi,
I' continue to have problem with indexing PST file, which I already encountered in other previous version

When I add PST files, which are not in Outlook app, X1 index them, but after a few days, maybe because it cannot access it for some reason, it lost all index only for those PST files.
Index for Outlook loaded PST is still there.
Those PST, for which index is lost, are not loaded inside outlook but they are in physical drive, not network drive.

Can you check this problem ?

thanks
Emanuele

Added how?

There are various ways of doing this. (I use a dummy Mail Profile.)

Added as PST file, since they are not in Outlook profile.
