What happens when the beta expires?

The latest beta is due to meltdown on 1 April. (Good choice.) What happens when the beta ends? Will the system recognise our paid for licences? Or will the server at the X1 end complain that we have "activated" the software on too many PCs?

I do not remember being warned to deactivate the current version before installing the beta. Did this happen automatically behind the scenes?

I raise this now so that we don't have any nasty surprises when 8.2 goes live.

Hey Kenward,

Upon expiration, you'll be presented with a notification and an upgrade to the release build for 8.2.

You shouldn't have any issues related to your license or indexes.
