Hopeless, and useless, reports of "Last indexed"

If you look at this screenshot:

You will see that it reports that Outlook Email was "Last indexed: 29 April 20:05"

This is nonsense. X1 shows messages much more recent than this.

Unfortunately, these reports are completely useless. I have had many incidents where I cannot find files and email that I know exist.

I could live with this if I knew that X1 was working to index these files, but, as I say, the information that X1 offers is downright wrong.

Still seeing fun and games with the wonky index status and indexing in X1 8.2.

Today's screen grabs:

Notice that today's date is 2014-05-18. X1 has been running every day. But still it has taken several days off in is indexing of Outlook.

The 27 April date is actually wrong. The most recent message that X1 finds is actually from 2014-05-10

In files, it says that it last index on 14 May. Rubbish. It finds files added since then, although who knows how reliable that is?

In other words, X1 is completely unreliable.

Last indexed is an indication of when the scanner finished successfully it's indexing, meaning it was not paused, cancelled or stopped by an error.
There is no indication of when was the most recent item indexed.

For example Files is in Queued state, which means it was indexing, but then paused because you switched to Outlook and it started indexing Outlook.
Note that Outlook and Files scanners are mutually exclusive, only one of them can index at a given moment, the rest will be in Queued state.
