X1 much slower after upgrade to 8.3

Indexing, files showing in preview pane and switching from area to area on the left pain is much much much slower. I've been messing around with virtual memory and I can't trace the change to anything but the upgrade.

Any thoughts?

I'm good. I had a memory problem with my computer. X1 works great. Sorry for the false alarm.
