Indexing errors

Postby ajtrubin » Wed Feb 01, 2017 4:47 pm

After I upgraded to V.8.5 6001qm (32-bit), four emails showed up at the top of the email list with the date "1/1/4501." For a moment I thought that x1 had been upgraded to allow users to glimpse into the far distant future, but when I double-clicked on those email items to open them, I was disappointed to find that they were just a few random emails from 2009 and 2012 that had somehow become incorrectly indexed. Is there a way to delete only these items from the index so that they will get re-indexed (hopefully, correctly), without deleting the actual emails from Outlook or having to delete the entire x1 index and re-do it?
Thanks for your help!
(And when will x1 be upgraded to permit retrieval of future emails and documents? :) )

Hello,

these emails are indexed .msg files located on the disk. You can exclude them from the regular email search, see my instructions in this post:
