Excessive Disk Activity = Computer Unresponsive

Postby wpilgri » Fri Jan 15, 2016 1:49 pm

I have been running the latest build of X1 for a while now on Windows 7 x64 and Outlook 2013 32 bit and it used to be fine. In the last week X1 consumes so much I/O that my computer becomes unresponsive for hours (I've waiting 6+ hrs and it never comes back). Sometimes it will blue screen after hours, usually just the HDD pegged and unresponsive.

I am working with support and they said disable real time indexing so I did that (even though it was working fine with it) and no change.
I have the "delay indexing if using computer" enabled but no measurable change.
Uninstall/reboot/reinstall no change.

Has anyone else seen this and if so what was the resolution?

Thank You
