Issue with 8.5 6001qm

I keep getting a pop up saying connecting to search service. Once this starts, there is no way to use X1. I have to kill the left over processes or reboot. Just closing X1 will not stop the message from popping up.

I opened a ticket with X1 Support a couple weeks ago and submitted the support files. I have not heard anything from them since. I have even sent two follow up messages for status.

Is there an issue going on with X1? I just recently paid my yearly support. Starting to wonder.

i have the absolutely same problem.

Maybe helps:
in Menu - Data Sources it says: Indexing...(optimizing XY %).
the "XY" gous up to 62% after that the pop up appears, and th "XY" goes back to 0

really need some help here
