Outlook no longer indexes

As of yesterday, Outlook no longer indexes (email, contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes). It shows "Error." When I go into the settings, the window is completely blank, as if X1 can no longer find the Outlook file (ost - I run Exchange email). This is the first time in running X1 for years that I have experienced this problem. I have submitted this to support, but I am hoping to get help quickly.

I have since determined that this problem was caused by an update to Office 365 from version 2003 to version 2004. Going back to version 2003 (16.0.12624.20466) resolved the problem for me. But it would seem that X1 will need to make such changes to avoid a problem in the future with Office.

X! Support & Development Teams,

It appears that Microsoft with their latest Outlook for Office 365 has blocked X1 Search 8 (16.0.12730.20188) 64-bit from indexing the local OST file. I was working just fine prior to my firm initiating the MS Outlook/Office 365 update.

Also, MS is enhancing their own search tools, so this may be conflicting with X1's tools. PLEASE FIX THIS QUICKLY. I use X1 throughout my work day, and depend on it to gather data for reports that I generate.

Facing the same issue. Been using X1 for 10+ years. Am handicapped since the search stopped working now.

This is an issue with Office updates. X1 does not work with the latest update.

I followed the steps provided by Microsoft to roll back to an older version. Link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/hel ... -2016-clic

The version I entered in the XML is 16.0.12654.20466
I was rolled back to 12730.20236.

X1 is now working.

Looking forward to hear from X1 support for a bug fix.

I have heard back from X1 support. This is caused by a change in Microsoft's Office program, so X1 cannot provide a fix. They said Microsoft is working on one, but I don't know when/how we will know it is fixed - MS is not great about announcing stuff like this.

X1 support alerted me to the fact that Microsoft has fixed the issue. I can confirm X1 is working with the updated version of Office 365.
