X1Search needs to validate the activation server...problem

I am using a proxy server from the company. The company doesn't want to make changes to their proxy server. I received this error:

"X1 Search needs to validate with the activation server in order to run. Please check your Internet connection and try again."

I restarted the X1 service, rebooted the PC, re-validate, etc. and nothing works. I cannot go home 30 miles just to avoid the proxy just to run it again. This happened to be at least 3 times already and I lost X1 Search on critical days.

1. What is company doing about this?
2. When will the patch be completed?
3. What is the workaround meantime?

If a complete patch is not yet available, please provide a workaround because this hits our productivity greatly to those who rely so much with the software.

The company is working on this. We expect a patch June 4th. It could be sooner than that. We are already testing the release candidate with a fix for this particular issue.
