Outlook Email Data Source - Pipe Error

I just purchased and installed X1 Search 8.2 (build 5001dv 64bit). When I click the "Edit Data Source" icon for Outlook Email, I receive the error "X1 has experienced a problem and may need to close. There was an error reading from the pipe: The pipe has been ended." Then X1 closes.

I have tried launching X1 with Outlook open and Outlook closed and X1 always crashes. When Outlook is open, I am connected to my Exchange server and able to send/receive emails. No connectivity issues.

Any ideas?

I had something similar but x1 keeps running. I keep getting X1 Outlook Contact Scanner error notice that pops up on my toolbar lower right: It says: "There was an error reading from the pipe: The pipe has been ended. (109,0x6d). It doesn't seem to cause x1 problems but it is disconcerting too...

Would you guys mind sending me some of your log files? In particlar:

c:\Users\%userprofile%\Appdata\Local\X1 Search\X1OutlookService.log
c:\Users\%userprofile%\Appdata\Local\X1 Search\X1ServiceHost.log
c:\Users\%userprofile%\Appdata\Local\X1 Search\X1.log
c:\Users\%userprofile%\Appdata\Local\Temp\X1Setup.log

We'll take a look and see if we can figure out what might be happening.

Hi Jerald,
I have been recently getting the "pipe ended" error messages quite frequently for the last month or so. It is quite annoying now.

What can I do to determine the cause?
I have re-installed X1.
I am running 8.3.2.1 build 5003eb

I am still having this issue.
Is there any way to get someone to work on the problem?

I am running
Outlook 2013
X1 8.3.3 build 5003fx (64-bit)

Every time X1 starts to index I get the error 109 message 2 times close together then it continues on.
This is so annoying.
