I still am sending out "read" receipts for messages that I do not wish to inform that I have read them! (These are mostly my own messages to employees that I am copied on)
Any reason why you suddenly stopped doing this - or "forgot" to make sure this option continued on from prior versions of X1 Search?
Yes, this is the current version I am running (Build 6001si)

Can you at least tell us which logs I (or even better, you!) should look at to see what's wrong?
Thanks,

We’re tremendously excited to announce the GA release of X1 Search 8.5.1!
cscott wrote:Hi Reza,
Do you have a customer support ticket number I can reference?
For future reference, any logs related to the installation will be located in the temp file directory. There will be a x1searchsetup.log and an associated x1searchinstall(random numbers).log that will both be necessary to provide to Customer Care to troubleshoot this.
Thanks,
Chris
poy wrote:As speed and reliabilty of X1 is related to the size of it's index I'd like to add some stopwords.
How do I work with stop lists?
How does it have to be enabled?
How can additional stoplists be added? We’re tremendously excited to announce the GA release of X1 Search 8.5.1!
I'd be tremendously excited if X1 would reply to this post.
I'd be even more tremendously excited if there was some sort of documentation...
Thanks in advance.

Hi Migwel,
Install issues are something that's a bit tricky to diagnose on these forums. Would you mind submitting a ticket?

It's not showing 0% - it's actually *continuously* indexing!Kenward wrote:SuperFlyBoy wrote:Also, WHY does X1 keep re-indexing everything from scratch if you exit it??
What makes you think that this is happening? It doesn't do that here. So there is something amiss with your installation, or you are misinterpreting the messages you see.
Just because the status says 0% indexed does not mean it is starting from scratch, just that it is 0% of the way through its current session.

I really only use X1 for email search.
I was recently upgraded to a new laptop (a couple of months ago) at work and we also migrated over to Office 365.
Since I installed X1 on my new laptop, I believe that X1 is not finding and indexing all the email in my OST file. The best example of this is when I look in my Sent folder in outlook I can see that I have a little over 20,000 items. In X1 if I select Sent Items on the left side the results window only shows me 844 items. alternatively if I select All Email on the left side and enter my own name in the From box, the results window only shows me a little over 6,000 items.
What can I do to make sure that X1 is finding and indexing all my emails?
I still have not added any of my achrived PST files, I want to wait until I resolve this issue to know that X1 is working.
I have never had this type of issue with X1 in the past.
Thank you for your help.
Jason
