Searching for a specific Date & Time Range

Postby borsheck » Fri Feb 22, 2019 11:25 am

I work in a tech support environment and receive 100's of NMS alert emails daily that I do NOT delete, but filter on to answer questions posed by the customer of when certain events occur. So as an example, I was asked to provide a PEG count of the alerts from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM PST, 02/21/2019. I was only able to create a filter using the format of: 02/21/2019 12:00.. which provided me with the alerts/resets that occurred between the 12:00 AM - 12:59 AM hour window. What I want to do is set a filter for a specific timeframe like - 12:00 AM to 05:00 AM.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Have you investigated the NEAR operator?

"12:00 AM" NEAR "5:00 AM"

You can get even more complicated by specifying how near it has to be.

No, I have nothing to do with X1, just a user since 2004.
